Local Fishing Report
Crappie are starting to move into the deeper water but if you can find them they are in big schools. Striper fishing continues to improve on area lakes. Live shad are the best bait but some fish have been caught on bucktails. Bass fishing is good and should continue for the rest of the month. The fishing out at the beach is excellent when the winds are not blowing hard. Kings and red drum have been the hot bite and there are still many trout being caught as well.
